Microtrac develops leading solutions for particle characterization. Carbolite supplies high-performance laboratory ovens. Eltra enables precise elemental analysis. QATM takes care of metallographic sample preparation and hardness testing and ERWEKA is our producer of pharmaceutical testing devices. Verder Scientific operates 13 production sites and eleven sales companies worldwide and are part of the German-Dutch technology group Verder, a group of companies with over 2000 employees around the globe. Our continued success in the Northeast depends on dedicated sales leadership and outstanding customer engagement—therefore we are looking for a Sales Manager Northeast Area (m/f/d). In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for driving sales of our Retsch Productline, ensuring our solutions reach the right customers and helping us maintain our reputation for excellence in the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide expert application consultations to ensure our clients receive the best laboratory solutions.
  • Manage all sales processes in the assigned territory, from initial sample processing for proof-of-concept to closing deals and maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
  • Plan, organize, and attend tradeshows, customer demonstrations, and industry events to represent the company and expand market presence.
  • Maintain detailed activity records and communication logs within the CRM, and provide accurate revenue forecasts to support bsiness planning.
  • Conduct remote and onsite consultations and training sessions, ensuring customer satisfaction and product knowledge transfer.

Job Requirements:

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Laboratory bench experience with an interest in sales, or prior sales experience with laboratory instrumentation, is part of your background.
  • Residing within driving distance of our Newtown, PA headquarters enables you to stay connected with the team.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills set you apart.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM platforms support your sales effectiveness, and you are willing to travel 20–30% of the time.
