QATM takes care of metallographic sample preparation and hardness testing and ERWEKA is our producer of pharmaceutical testing devices. Verder Scientific operates 13 production sites and eleven sales companies worldwide and are part of the German-Dutch technology group Verder, a group of companies with over 2500 employees around the globe. Doing what is fun

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ELTRA instruments via phone, email, and on‑site visits, including in‑house diagnostics, repairs, and calibrations.
  • Maintain and service VSUS laboratory units, conduct preventive maintenance per service agreements, and assist with commissioning new equipment at customer sites.
  • Prepare and issue quotes for spare parts and service work while building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts and end users.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree in Electrical or Technical field preferred, or at least 3 years’ experience as a maintenance/service technician in a laboratory or industrial environment, with solid understanding of single‑ and three‑phase electrical systems.
  • Proficient with diagnostic tools (multimeters, clamp meters, standard hand tools), able to read/interpret schematics and technical drawings, and possessing basic mechanical systems knowledge.
  • Experience with CRM/ERP systems preferred, plus strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel 35–50% (including overnight trips) and ability to stay organized and detail‑oriented in all responsibilities.
