For our location in Hyderabad we are looking for a highly motivated new team member to handle technical service for : Eltra - Elemental Analysis & Carbolite - Heat treatment divisions

We are seeking an experienced & enthusiastic Service Engineer for the installation, maintenance and repair of our advanced laboratory & scientific equipment. You primary role would be to provide on-site and off-site technical support to ensure optimal performance of systems at customer locations. 

Responsibilities:

  • Delivery, Installation, & Demonstration of our products and imported equipment
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities during on-site customer visits 
  • Perform calibrations, part replacements, alignments, firmware upgrades to maintain equipment
  • Identify recurring technical issues; provide feedback to management for design improvements 
  • Prepare detailed service reports for each customer case
  • Educate clients on proper equipment operation, maintenance and sample preparation
  • Coordinate with supply chain for parts delivery and inventory management
  • Proficient use of multimeters, hand tools, schematics and technical drawings

 

Qualifications

  •  Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical or Electronics Engineering
  • 3-5 years experience servicing sample preparation, metallurgical, particle size & shape, or related lab equipment
  • Strong technical aptitude for troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues
  • Excellent communication skills and customer orientation 
  • Willingness to travel frequently to customer sites across India
  • Self-driven and comfortable working independently at client premises when required
  • Strong team player with analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and time management abilities
