Primary responsibilties:
- To insulate a wide range of furnace chambers and heating elements with various types of insulation materials.
- To form, condition and test element windings to required standards.
- Use a range of equipment to form, test, condition, cut and shape component parts to size.
- Use of the vacuum forming process to manufacture a variety of parts from ceramic fibres.
- Perform other tasks as deemed necessary at the request of the Production Unit Supervisor.
Key skills and qualifications:
- Experience of working in a production or manufacturing environment, and a knowledge of material types and cutting techniques would be preferable, but not essential as full in-house training can be provided to the right candidate.
- Candidates should be capable of working on their own initiative and as part of a team.
What we have to offer:
- Salary dependent on experience and qualifications.
- 38.00 Hours per week, 4 day week, rotating shifts, Monday – Thursday/Tuesday-Friday.
- 37.50 Hours per week, Mon-Thurs 8.00 – 4.45 pm, Friday 8.00 - 12.30 pm (Early finish on a Friday).
