In this key role, you’ll drive compliance efforts, partner across departments to enhance manufacturing processes, and ensure our products consistently meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. Primary responsibilities as Manufacturing Engineer
- Drive continuous improvement in product quality and manufacturing to uphold our standards and customer trust.
- Evaluate processes, workflows, and systems to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements that boost operational performance.
- Implement data-driven methods to assess, prioritize, and track product quality, enabling proactive issue resolution.
- Create internal tracking tools for inspections and quality issues to ensure transparency and quick response.
- Lead root cause investigations and corrective/preventative actions, internally and with suppliers, to prevent recurrence of issues.
- Support MRB activities, including containment, audits, and disposition of defective parts, maintaining high product reliability.
- Provide quality guidance to New Product Development, ensuring robust designs and smooth product launches.
As Manufacturing Engineer you're a perfect match, if...
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (ME, MET).
- 4 to 7 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in a quality-focused role, is part of your background.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with mechanical/electrical metrology tools are among your strengths.
- Computer proficiency (MS Office, file/database management) and attention to detail in documentation and reporting are demonstrated skills.
- Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are part of your toolkit.
- Experience with design software (Solid Works, Solid Edge) and knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, machining, or stamping are assets.
- Available for early morning Teams meetings and thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
- Experience in ISO 9001-regulated environments, supplier quality audits, or process quality plans is a plus.
- Familiarity with problem-solving tools (root cause analysis, statistical tools, FMEA, APQP) and a strong ownership mindset will set you apart.
- Medical Device Manufacturing experience a plus.
